Rodri joined Manchester City from Atlético Madrid in July 2019 for £62.6 million, which represented a club-record fee for the English side at the time.

Major Changes to Manchester City’s Squad

Rodri’s departure is not the only significant change at Manchester City this summer. Captain Bernardo Silva joined Real Madrid on a free transfer after his contract with the English club expired.

City have also agreed to sell Tijjani Reijnders to Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah.
